During the holiday season I try to find all of my easy, party friendly recipes. If you thought the Mini Cherry Tarts were simple, these coconut kisses are even easier. Why? No cooking involved. I made this batch from start to finish in less than an hour, refrigeration time included.
Ingredients
- 7 ounces flaked coconut
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup instant nonfat dry milk
- 1/2 cup chopped candied red cherries
- 2 teaspoons butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 24 milk chocolate candy kisses
Directions
- In a large bowl, sift powdered sugar
- Whisk dry milk into powdered sugar
- Add rest of ingredients except candy kisses
- Mix well
- Scoop out heaping tablespoons onto wax paper
- Press one candy kiss into top of each mound of coconut
- Refrigerate 30 minutes or until firm
